Why we work this way

Good advice doesn't wait until April.

We work differently. Before we touch your numbers, we listen to how your business actually runs. We answer your questions in plain language, without the jargon. And we tell you what's coming before it arrives, not after.

How we work

What working with us feels like.

Real conversations

Quick questions are always welcome. When something needs real time, we book a meeting so you get our full attention. You get plain-language answers specific to your business and your industry. From your first call to your finished return, all of it can be done remotely, wherever you are.

Guidance and support, all year

Thinking about buying or leasing a new work vehicle, hiring your first employee, or taking on a big client? Reach out before you decide. We encourage check-ins throughout the year, because that's when good advice actually saves you money.

You'll know what to expect

Before we start, you'll get a firm quote for projects and an honest estimate for tax returns. If something changes along the way, we'll talk with you first.

Who we are

A practice built on paying attention.

Michele has spent 15 years in accounting and finance, working with small business owners, entrepreneurs, and corporations. He holds a bachelor's degree in business finance and learned the work through his family's tax business in California, a practice built entirely on word of mouth.

Outside the practice, Michele renovates residential properties all around Minneapolis, keeping the original feel and architecture of each home while updating it with modern aesthetics. Running the budgets, contractors, and cash flow on his own projects keeps him close to what his clients face every day, especially those in the trades.

He started Reflexivity to bring a more personal kind of accounting to Minneapolis, where clients get time to talk, room to ask questions, and steady support as their business grows. That takes conversation, empathy, and planning. He believes good decisions come from consistent reflection, looking back at what's working and letting it shape what comes next.
